For more than 30 years, Steve Fouty, CPA, served as CFO or Controller for many of central Indiana's most successful technology startups, including: ExactTarget, ClusterTruck, Compendium, PolicyStat, Emerging Threats and Software Artistry. He has also advised or performed fractional CFO work for many other technology companies: Remodel Health, Aprimo, Smartfile, Springbuk, PERQ, DemandJump, Clear Software, Salesvue, Upper Hand, LeadJen, Standard for Success, Tyner Pond and more. Steve was named to TechPoint's inaugural "Tech 25" class in 2015 and was a 2020 MIRA Award finalist.

Steve Fouty was the Controller of ExactTarget and helped to take the company from a small startup to one with revenues in excess of $100M. He established and grew an accounting department both making employee hires and also implementing accounting systems. He was responsible for budgeting, all accounting and treasury functions in addition to working on sales compensation plan designs, etc. He did an excellent job in a dynamic environment.
